Hi, I'm Kelsey Norris.
I'm a Speech-Language Pathologist, Certified Lactation Counselor, and Feeding Specialist.
Oh, and I'm also a parent to two young kids (aka my most important job). I became a parent in 2019 and was so excited to start solids with my firstborn. As a feeding therapist, I thought I totally had a handle on things.
But then I realized that there were major differences between what my doctor said, my friends said, what social media said, and my clinical knowledge. I thought, if this is overwhelming for me, I can only imagine how l would feel if I didn't have a background as a feeding therapist. So... I turned to the research. I wanted to know if there was one "best" way. I wanted to know how to set my firstborn, and eventually my second, up for long-term success.
So, here we are- I've made the mistakes and done all of the hard work for you. This course is EXACTLY what I wanted when I had my first child.
My lens is unique in that I am both a professional and a parent- you'll see that reflected in my teaching. Not only am I passionate about evaluating and treating feeding disorders, but I am committed to educating families, as well. I want mealtime to be FUN for every family.
